Iggy Pop & Daisy
Iggy Pop is a 4 year old ACD mix.  Rescued from Columbus, OH by Tracy Custer at the
age of 8 months.  I adopted him a few months later and he's been a great disc dog ever
since!  Tracy had worked with him a lot while they fostered him, so he was very much into
the disc already thanks to her!!  He won his first Disc Dog award after only having him for
a few months and that was 2nd place in Toss N Fetch at the BADDOG event in Midway,
KY.  Since then he has won numerous awards, mostly in Toss N Fetch but a few 'major'
ones in freestyle.  In October, 2006 he won 1st place in Novice Freestyle at the USDDN
qualifier in Cincinnati, OH.  In November, 2006 at the USDDN finals in Louisville, KY he
won 3rd place in Novice freestyle.  He is such a fun dog to play with, we don't really care
about winning, we just have a blast together!

I adopted Daisy from Christina Curtis out of Indianapolis Animal Care & Control in
November 2006 at the young age of about 10 weeks!  She is also an ACD mix and is 10
months old now.
Christina's sister snapped a picture of her while she was helping out at Animal Control
and said 'this dog reminds me of Iggy Pop', so of course I had to 'spring her' hoping I
could add a second disc dog to my pac!  We worked on rollers for quite some time this
spring, as she was quite overwhelmed with all the activities at the competitions, then all
of a sudden she just 'got it' and started catching 25-30 yarders like she had been doing it
all her life!  She is very crazy for the disc, so hopefully soon she will be out there
freestylin' with Iggy Pop!  She hasn't won any awards yet, but I'm sure she will in the not
too distance future!
