| My name is Julie Middleton. I am a physical therapist assistant in a nursing home. I have a 3 year old Australian shepherd, Lily; a 2 1/2 year old Australian shepherd, Flame and 1 year old Border collie mix, Zander. Lily and I started with agility and played disc in our backyard for the first year to run down her never ending energy. I adopted Flame from a breeder/foster home and she is a great herder. Zander was rescued from the humane society. He is learning to "talk", loves herding balls and playing frisbee. My mom saw an ad in the paper for the USDDN competition in Nov. 2005. I met Jeff and Misty at an agility lesson and ran into them again at the competition. They were as excited about this sport as I was so that's how I got started in disc dogging!!! |
